Peter Funch was born in Denmark in 1974.
His photography roots are steeped in photojournalism which he studied in Copenhagen after finishing school.
In 2003 he was selected among thousands of photographers to attend the highly prestigious Joop Swart masterclass organized by World Press Photo - an experience that galvanized his unique point of view and helped shape his success.
Since that time, his work has appeared in such publications as New York Magazine, The New York Times, Portfolio and Big aswell as numerous international advertising campaigns including Ariel, Post Finance, Axe, Toyota, O2, SAS, Vodafone and the acclaimed Sony Bravia "Bouncy Balls" among many others.
His work ofthen combines storytelling with a perceptive social commentary in a cinematic visual language.
