Nach verschiedenen Assistenzen startete Michael seine Selbstständigkeit zunächst als Sportfotograf. Situationen und Emotionen möglichst ohne Einsatz von künstlichem Licht in ihrer reinsten Form und Natürlichkeit einzufangen, ist Michaels Spezialität. Seine Aufnahmen wirken so authentisch, dass man nicht nur die Anwesenheit des Fotografen vergisst, sondern als Betrachter vielmehr selbst zum Bestandteil des Bildes wird. Schneesturm, Regenschauer oder brühende Hitze? Die Umsetzung seines Bildstils gelingt Michael auch und gerade unter extremen Wetter- und Geländebedingungen. Daher wird er mittlerweile nicht nur von Sportkunden, sondern auch für alle People- und Lifestyle-Shootings gebucht, bei denen Natürlichkeit und Authentizität gefragt sind.
After several assistance jobs Michael started his freelance work as a sports photographer. To catch situations and emotions as possible without any artificial light in their purest form and naturalness is Michael’s speciality. His exposures seem so authentic that they not only make us forget the presence of the photographer but also let the viewer become part of the picture. Snowstorms, rain showers or scalding heat? The realization of his style of pictures works just the same and even more under extreme weather and area conditions. This is the reason why he is not only booked by sports customers but also does people and lifestyle shootings where naturalness and authenticity is demanded.
