Tino Schaedler is an established art director, production designer and trained architect. He is something of a chimera, moving seamlessly across disciplines, always working at the leading edge of change. Be it production design for feature film and commercials, event design or architecture: His work is about spaces - spaces that tell and frame stories.

After working for three years as an architect at Daniel Libeskind, Tino migrated to the film industry. His combination of design talents and cutting edge digital skills quickly established him as one of the sought after artists. His art direction credits include productions such as Tim Burton's 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', 'The Golden Compass', 'V for Vendetta' and 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' and the upcoming Disney production `The Prince of Persia'.

A member of the Art Directors Guild in Los Angeles and its Technology Committee, Tino recently received the British Television Award for best Production Design for his work as production designer for 'House of Imagination' - a rebranding spot for the Syfy channel. The same design also gained him a nomination for an award for excellence in production design from the Art Directors Guild. Tino is a regular guest speaker on his work at universities and conventions worldwide, whilst also regularly contributing on film design to 'Mark' and 'Build' Magazine. His design projects such as the 'Strato Cruiser' and the 'Immersive Cocoon' have been widely featured by CNN, Architectural Digest, Frame, the Future Laboratory, GQ and other internationally renowned publications.

He is a founder of NAU, a cross-disciplinary design collective positioned between architecture and film
