Sixteen years old, lifestyle photographer Bobo Olsson sold his aquarium to buy a camera.

Through a good friend he had become totally enraptured by the noble art of photography, and then spent most of his youth in a darkroom in Falköping.

Before he began freelancing as a photographer, he worked for five years as an offset printer, an experience that according to him has been of great use in his current line of work.

Bobo describes himself as a persistent, unafraid of hard-graft type, willing to work stubbornly to get just the images he has made up his mind to take. A chameleon that blends in to most contexts and environments, whether he is on a rough back street in Paris or a savannah in southern Africa.

Inspired by art, travel, popular culture and music, he is constantly searching for new, unexpected motives to immortalise.
