Artist and illustrator Tzenko Stoyanov is something of a globetrotter. Born and raised in Bulgaria, he moved to Havana, Cuba in 1987 where he spent three years before heading off to the Netherlands. At the art academy in Enschede, he studied visual communication, illustration and graphic design before packing his things and moving to Amsterdam in 2001. There he freelanced for the design studio Ron van Roon, simultaneously working on his own art projects. For the last six years Tzenko has had his base in Sweden whilst maintaining a worldwide marketplace. His illustrations have been published in a number of Swedish and international newspapers, magazines and books. He has also had several group and solo exhibitions in galleries and museums throughout Europe. ''Image-wise, I always start a process manually and complete it digital'' he says. ''I do thorough research before beginning an assignment and I always try to satisfy both my own and my client's aesthetical and ideological requirements. Plus, I've never missed a deadline!''
