The OOR STUDIO APPAREL F/W24 COLLECTION – a video by DRIU & TIAGU with grooming by Diellza JAHIRI c/o BIGOUDI for you GoSee.News … and BIGOUDI is an exhibitor at UPDATE-24-BERLIN

NUMÉRO BERLIN writes about the young Berlin-Based label by jack-of-all-trades Götz Offergeld : “In times of crisis, fashion potentially becomes dark, dangerous, warlike. But exception proves the rule. Our colleagues at OOR Studio, the creative agency affiliated with the Off One’s Rocker publishing house, have designed a collection aimed at putting imagination and fun back into fashion.

It’s luxurious yet playful, never taking itself and fashion as a whole too seriously. At Pitti Uomo right now, OOR Apparel is celebrating its launch, finally. It was all fun and games when Götz Offergeld, publisher and founder of OOR Studio, and Mirko Borsche, the internationally acclaimed art director behind Bureau Borsche, usually working for brands from Supreme to Balenciaga, collaborated on stickers and merchandise with playful motifs for Numéro Berlin, one of the magazines that is an essential part of Offergeld’s publishing portfolio.

This became the starting point for OOR Apparel. The humorous attitude and imaginative spirit of the initial moment have endured and were transposed into distinctive, highly recognizable designs. As a base for this hyper-ingenious world of visuals, streetwear and tailoring come together in OOR Apparel, combining modern, timeless silhouettes and a traditional luxury appeal with playfulness, childlike fantasies, and a vibrant color explosion reminiscent of an LSD trip.”

For the commercial to go with all the fun – aka the OOR STUDIO APPAREL FW24 COLLECTION – thanks go to DRIU & TIAGU with grooming by Diellza JAHIRI c/o BIGOUDI.

The slightly abridged bio of Götz, courtesy of the Berliner Zeitung newspaper : “Born in the greater Aachen area, Götz Offergeld moved to Berlin at the beginning of the 1990s. Alongside various jobs in the fashion industry, which also took him to Milan and Paris, he worked as a model for luxury brands the likes of Gucci, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Dries van Noten or Paul Smith.

He later founded the Berlin base of the PR agency Totem Fashion until he began his career as a publisher at the beginning of the 2000s with the magazine Liebling. Finding time to work in between as Editor-in-Chief of L’Officiel Hommes.

In 2009, Offergeld founded the publishing company Off One’s Rocker, where the magazines Fräulein and Intersection as well as Numéro Berlin and Numéro Homme Berlin are still published today.

The Numéro Berlin magazines, published under license, were developed into independent magazines by OOR with content of excellent artistic quality produced consistently by the publishing house. The two magazines have a total circulation of more than 100,000 copies.

This year, Offergeld expanded his publishing business to Italy. Milan to be precise, where he publishes the magazine STXDYOZ (spoken: Studio XYZ). His creative forge OOR Studio designs books along with corporate magazines and develops campaigns. Since recently, Galerie Schlachter 151 in Berlin has also been part of the OOR universe.”

Meet the equally renowned and established Hamburg-based hair, makeup & styling agency BIGOUDI on 18 April at UPDATE-24-BERLIN at Telegraphenamt, Berlin Mitte.

'Blame it on Andy' or 'Warhol’s everlasting influence on fashion' - Jonas Huckstorf photographs for ACHTUNG Mag with styling by Ingo NAHRWOLD c/o BIGOUDI

ACHTUNG Magazine writes about the editorial shot by Jonas Huckstorf and styled by Ingo NAHRWOLD c/o BIGOUDI : “The combination of stylist Ingo Nahrwold and photographer Jonas Huckstorf is not new in ACHTUNG. Channeling Richard Avedon’s photos of Andy Warhol’s Factory in fashion photography isn’t either.

But add in a great and very 2023-feeling cast featuring Smilla Herbst, this editorial, combining classic suits and coats, is obscuring the lines of gender conformity. The B&W editing, the group shots, as well as the classic and androgynous tailoring are extremely reminiscent of The Factory vibe captured in Avedon’s iconic images.

Let’s remember that during the 1960s and early 1970s, Warhol’s studio was a cultural hub and meeting place for the most influential artists and celebrities of the time. Salvador Dalí, Allen Ginsberg, Mick Jagger, and Edie Sedgwick, to name a few, who decided over the course of arts and culture for decades to come.

Even though The Factory doesn’t exist anymore, influences of the ideas can be found everywhere to this day. Let this editorial be proof of that.”

In 2003, the German fashion editor and stylist Markus Ebner (* 29 October, 1969, in Waldshut-Tiengen) founded Achtung Mag, an independent German fashion magazine. But before that, he had been with KCD from 1995 to 1999, a company specialized in PR and events in New York, which also supported Gianni Versace in America.

Following the murder of Versace in 1997, his sister and successor as head of the company, Donatella Versace, hired Ebner as her right-hand man to organize exhibitions in the name of her late brother. Ebner was also on the team which organized Donatella Versace’s first show.

After the terrorist attacks which took place on ‘9/11’ in 2001, Ebner returned to Germany. In the Summer of 2002, he founded the magazine Sepp Football Fashion, followed by Achtung, as mentioned above, in September 2003.

Markus Ebner worked as a stylist for the German edition of Vanity Fair from 2007 to 2009. He worked for Zeit Magazine from 2009 to 2013, and has been Chief Stylist at F.A.Z. Magazine since 2013.
