Leagas Delaney recycles leaves for Plant-for-the-Planet
The Plant-for-the-Planet children's initiative aims to plant one billion trees all over the world to compensate for the damaging CO2 emissions. 12 billion trees have already been planted.
An international print-campaign has now been produced with the help of Leagas Delany Hamburg, which primarily targets potential tree donors.
The message is as simple as it is striking: “Each leaf binds CO2”. The various leafs are pictured and from its midst, a different kind of climate antagonist has been cut out. The motifs were created in collaboration with Spanish cut-art artist Lorenzo Durán.
“The campaign shows exactly what it's about: CO2 compensation and we could use every donation.”, says the 14-year old Felix Finkbeiner, founder of Plant-for-the-Planet.
The motifs will be on show in selected magazines and will also be featured on large-format billboards during several environmental congresses.
