Aando Fine Arts presents a solo show of Hansjörg Schneider’s works

The Aando Fine Art gallery presents a solo show of Berlin-based artist Hansjörg Schneider’s works. Hansjörg's most important material is paper and his focal motif is architecture. For the most part, he transforms faces of buildings and details of 20th Century modern constructions into large format paper cuts.

Within the buildings' reproduction, he focuses on the essence of its appearance and does away with all that is marginal. The three dimensional aspects of his work emerge from the shadows that lie between wall and paper, enabling the depicted architecture to expand into the room. Additionally, Hansjörg relies on the observer’s power of imagination and the ability to stereoscopically replenish what seems to be missing. Here at GoSee, for all who have to miss out on Berlin.
