Corinna Holthusen : following the footsteps of Dutch painters. Awards at the 5th Annual Photography Masters Cup, Gold at the PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris and new work

Corinna HOLTHUSEN was awarded in the Fine Art category at the 5th Annual Photography Masters Cup. The live online ceremony took place on October 29 and was followed by photographers from 83 countries. We are pleased to present the Rembrandt-inspired image.

The international jury was made up of representatives from Hasted Hunt Kraeutler in New York, Brancolini, Grimaldi, David & Goliath, Simon Studer Art Associates, Stills Gallery and even Christie's in London.

"It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 13,321 entries we received this year," says Basil O'Brien, Creative Director of the Awards. "Corinna Holthusen's" "Hayes" an exceptional image entered in the Fine Art category, represents contemporary colour photography at its finest, and we're pleased to present her with the title of Honourable Mention."

Corinna Holthusen's ‘Vermeer’ won the gold award at this year's PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris. The image pays homage to the most popular painting by Dutch master Jan Vermeer – ‘The Girl with the Pearl Earring’, created in 1665.

We are pleased to feature further new works by the photographer here on GoSee.
