Death Dishes - porcelain, that won't go extinct! GoSee's most morbid Christmas gift tip

Enthusiasm for high quality porcelain is slowly becoming extinct. It seems that Friederike foresaw this development and made it her topic. Her 'Death Dishes' intentionally merges porcelain and death and her range of pottery art even includes urns. 'Finite. A nice death' (is a product name too!).

The studied designer is concerned with ceramics, glass and pottery. She also draws on unusual materials such as recycled inner tube rafts or platinum. Yet, her main focus is the shape of the valuable pieces.

For one project, she developed funeral pottery in the shape of rockets, her shot glasses feature pistols and anchors; all in all, pretty morbid.

Fancy a last minute addition to your Christmas tree? The Andel Angels. They may not look very much like the traditional angels of yore and their wings painted in platinum make them look more like vampires than anything else, but why opt for traditional when you can have Death Dishes !?.

Death Dishes are available at the Online-Shop or from deathdishes.com.
