Enchanté - a warm welcome to our friends from France, now on show at Nucleus Gallery, California

Until 12 July, the Nucleus Gallery is pleased to present work by artists Adolie Day, Marguerite Sauvage, Véronique Meignaude and many more to its clients, visitors and friends.

All these artists have one thing in common – they are all children of the Grande Nation of beautiful France.

Nucleus concisely explain : "We felt an exhibit dedicated to the extraordinary diversity and creativity of their country seemed appropriate and overdue. On June 19th, get acquainted again with works by them and be 'pleased to meet' artists such as Benjamin Lacombe, Rebecca Dautremer, Gerald Guerlais, Alexandre Day, and more, who will be exhibiting with us for the first time."

The French word ‘Enchanté’ is a polite term that is used when people are introduced to one another, it roughly translates to ‘charmed’ or ‘pleased to meet you’ and is unmistakably charming and entirely positive in meaning.

This, according to Nucleus, is exactly how one feels when one has the pleasure of ‘meeting’ the works by the designers, illustrators and artists.
