Galerie Schmidt & Handrup, Cologne : Marcus Kleinfeld – Masse ohne Eigenschaften

The Schmidt & Handrup Gallery is very pleased to present Marcus Kleinfeld’s (*1979, Berlin) first solo show in Germany. For several years now, Marcus Kleinfeld has been preoccupied with the subjects of the psychology of the masses and behaviour control.

The works confront the viewer with the question of how people cohabitate, how they make their opinions heard and felt amongst one another. Often represented in diptyches, the depicted people and objects are placed in a dialogue with each other.

Marcus Kleinfeld studied at Chelsea College of Art and Design, London, the Ecole Superieure des Beaux-Arts Villa Arson, Nice and Goldsmiths College, London. He lives and works in London.

An artist book will be published in a limited edition of 100.
