Proud Gallery, London : the legendary Paul Newman - previously unpublished photos by Leo Fuchs
Remember how Paul Newman was stood there, with his bare chest and cigarette poised in his left hand, his gaze passing you by, and you hardly ever noticed that he was in company. This image which seems to stick in everyone’s mind stems from a 1960s film set.
Previously unpublished images of the life and times of the legendary late acting figure that is Paul Newman, can be viewed in this photography exhibition in London.
The Proud Camden South Gallery presents the actor, director and racing driver’s career as captured through the camera of producer turned photographer Leo Fuchs. Fuchs, who passed away in Paris early this year, shot these images of Newman in Hollywood, 1963. Leo’s son has discovered these prints hidden in the safe.
"Remembering Paul Newman by Leo Fuchs" runs from 3 September – 23 October. Find out more on the gallery’s website.
