A nice side effect of the upcoming end of the year are the numerous calendar projects with which companies wish to indulge their clients and business partners. To all collectors and friends of photography, this is a welcome Christmas tradition, which does not even leave any traces of over indulgence on the hips. 

ZEISS also published a calendar this year, featuring boxing shadows and lusty vamps. Academy Award winner Adrien Brody and Toni Garrn took the spotlight, following in the footsteps of Bryan Adams, Wim Wenders, Michael J. Fox and Willem Dafoe. Ellen von Unwerth photographed the duo.

The images were unveiled on the 25th of October at the Haus der Photographie in Hamburg to a small and exclusive circle of 100 guests, including Iris von Arnim, F.C. Gundlach and Olli Dittrich. The project was organised and presented by Anke Degenhardt and Michael Drinkhahn.

Eva Napp was so kind as to take her camera and created a collage of snapshots from the evening as well as a sneak peek of the calendar.
