5 GUM Vision Lab – MAKING SENSES : visionaries discovered! the competition's ten finalists have been announced

Get the chance to discuss the perfect look with Eley Kishimoto? Or perhaps you’d prefer to experience some musical experiments with Ewan Pearson? Taste Telse Bus’s molecular taste explosions? Or create a confusingly tactile object with Art Basel’s newcomer stars, the Front design collective?

These and other unique experiences await the ten finalists at the 5 GUM Vision Lab. In addition to this, Scott Schuman of none other than the world’s most famous fashion blog – “The Sartorialist“, will also have his eye trained on the participants.

Now the crème de la crème of the 130 entries, will battle it out on 24 and 25 June, to persuade the industry insider panel, as well as invited guests, such as press and scenesters, of their know-how, imagination, creativity and charm.

When the two days are over, a winner would have been picked, and then awarded with the 10,000 Euro support grant.

Finalists include Eva Brüdersdorf and Nadine Miyahara’s young fashion label Mila Miyahara, with their “Black Diamond” summer collection. And Hamburg creative duo Claus Berg and Rainer Kollender’s vision of a rechargeable floating lamp.
