Projekt Galerie Showroom : between avant-garde jewellery by MARIA FRANCESCA PEPE and wool creations from the Faroe Islands
Sven Krüger and his successful Projekt Galerie Showroom were once again taking part in the Berlin Fashion Week 2011. Centrally located at Alexanderplatz – we like! - the fair presented fashion by national and international designers.
The focal points of his concepts are high fashion, the avant-garde, streetwear and the contemporary – with a definite emphasis on wearability. The fashion presentations by various exhibitors took place at BLACK BOX THEATER.
The delightful design of the showcase windows welcomed visitors, giving them something to marvel at before even entering the showroom. The windows featured collection pieces by jewellery designer MARIA FRANCESCA PEPE. According to Sven, Maria is the most popular jewellery designer in Europe.
We were thrilled by the filigree jewellery and charming jet setter Maria herself, who flew in last minute. GoSee presents a selection of her designs.
TATA CHRISTIANTE was the avant-garde designer in the showroom, displaying her loopy mixture of crochet, knitwear, silk and jerseys.
Several orders were witnessed by trustworthy sources - definite proof that the brightly coloured collection is far from being difficult to wear. Her work is particularly popular on the Asian market.
Between all the jewellery, lots of black and leather, we relished the woolly creations by GUDRUN GUDRUN. The designers from the Faroe Islands looked to their travel experiences for inspiration – they are currently en route to Paris...
The high quality handicrafts are created far from the hectic fashion hurly-burly, in their factory on the islands of the North Atlantic. We’re in love!
GoSee is pleased to present some of the handmade designs – and a portrait of the twin named duo. If you're interested in their exceptional woolly fashion, go see their onlineshop.
