Unit F büro für mode : Festival for Fashion & Photography's fifth anniversary and 10 years of Unit F - let's party !

Let the games begin! The ‘10 festival for fashion & photography’ is open until 17 June in Vienna and with over 30 individual events, provides visitors with a programme of even more variety and colour than ever before.

This year two Austrian fashion-related anniversaries are being celebrated: the tenth anniversary of the Unit F platform and office for fashion and the fifth anniversary of the actual festival for fashion and photography.

The festival, which is initiated and organised by Unit F is celebrating its fifth birthday and is in keeping with the festivities of the office’s tenth anniversary.

With over 30 individual events at various locations in Vienna, the annual fashion festival has blossomed into a large event itself with an equally as wide programme. There are countless exhibitions, performances and concerts by, amongst others, Forever Famous, an exhibition of photos by Rankin, Roxanne Lowit, Arthur Elgort, Antoine Verglas, Timothy White, Gerard Uferas, Albert Watson and Michel Comte at the renowned PhotographersLimitedEditions.com gallery.

The EIGHT VIEWS exhibition presents work by Corina Gertz, Alexandra Hager, Mira Löw, Rosa Rendl, mangelware / Sandra Schmidt, Helga Traxler, modern martyr / Angela Wiedermann and Marko Zink.

The event opened with the Guerilla Store 2010, which is looking forward to welcoming countless visitors from international realms. We have attached some first impressions of the opening. Guests included Kostas Murkudis (fashion designer & speaker at impulse|evolve Talk, Berlin), Birgit Seiwald (Head of PR, LISKA), Andreas Murkudis (Buyer, Guerilla Store, Berlin).
