Blank : fashion brand from Sweden

The couple behind the label (company) met at the nationally highly regarded school Beckman’s school of design in Stockholm in autumn 1997. Quickly discovering a creative streak between them.
Åsa Göransson and Fredrik blank both graduated Beckman’s school of design in spring 2000 each showing their respective work to great acclaim.

At the year 2000 they immediately formed Blank (adopting the name because it being synonymous with adjectives like empty, plain and unmarked)

The Swedish design couple has since then operated their own independent high end fashion company both as freelance designers, working separately or as a team, and received great interest for their own work with the Blank label.

Since the start they have both also received great interest and won the prestigious Ellen price for (magazine ELLE) rookie of the year 2001and best fashion of the year 2003, and Men’s Rookie of the year 2007 from the Men’s´ Magazine Café.

The Stockholm based brand is built on a conceptual Men’s and women’s wear collection with high quality and making. Blank’s mantra is harsh tailored and mixed and shows in the: into detail tailored collections, often inspired from the harsh and dark side of life.
