Franzius : Summer Collection *Hairy Harry*

Stephanie Franzius's summer collection with the noble name *Hairy Harry* is out. With it the Berlin designer is taking us on a tour into the 60’s men’s coiffeur .... The damp shop window reads *Hairy Harry*, the inside filled with wooden interior and a separated brown lino floor giving the white porcelain sink and the mint tiles a chance to shine. Harry in his pleated pants is adjusting his bright white coat collar to prepare for the next costumer. His assistant Rose is waiting behind the massive counter inspecting her coral nail polish. The work on a Franzius collection starts with the emotional implementations of ideas and feelings into the design process. The feeling is imbedded within the collection and mirrors the theme. As with all her collections her personal style and the dictate of the moment and short lived zeitgeist are dominating the theme. Beginning of the year the collection was presented at the fashion fairs in Berlin and Paris. The upcoming winter collection Mimikri will for the fist time be shown as an installation in Japan.
