LundLund : cover and editorial with model Ragnhild Jevne and McQueen's Armadillos for VELVET

A portrait shot by Marcus OHLSSON graces the cover of the April issue of VELVET. It depicts top model Ragnhild Jevne in a platinum blonde afro style wig. Laura Bianchi carried out the styling.

The cover was realised to accompany an animalistic editorial. The so-called Armadillos reflect the desert-like, raw setting of the shoot and the stark natural environment. The late Alexander McQueen named his reptile like shoe creations after the armoured animals.
