Wedding Couture - Ziad Ghanem's wild wedding world

Romantic, a bit of goth, dramatic silhouettes, an explosion of colours – not exactly the usual attributes you would associate with a collection of wedding dresses. It is a given when it comes to Ziad Ghanem and we would expect nothing less.

The designer will be showing his wedding collection during the upcoming couture fashion week – and not in a traditional fashion as one might expect. That would be boring indeed; we are talking about Ziad Ghanem after all.

The designer celebrates the ephemeral art of dressing up and a wedding ‘in style’, be it the groom or the bride. His collection is a tribute to the traditional art of tailoring, to classic techniques that merge with modern concepts. A screamingly colourful homage to the most wonderful and certainly most expensive day in some people’s lives. Not a nod to William and Kate though, a sad fact in a crazy world of colours.
