1st UNIT : "Leave an Impression" in Mexico City with BALLANTINES, the BMW 6 COUPE is 'designed for driving', Curiosity - the first step to REDDS, KING DOUBLE ice-cream, a dream in chocolate and a new DOP entry
See the world through your own eyes, live according to your own rules – that is Plan B – the Ballantine plan.
A 19-year old farmer’s son from Edinburgh, George Ballantine opened up a grocery in 1827 with a hand-picked selection of Whiskeys.
In 1865, quite a while and probably a few glasses later, he began mixing his own blends. Not a bad idea, considering that his clients were becoming more and more sophisticated. Guaranteed success.
Today, Chivas Brothers Ltd. UK runs the brand. The new international campaign spot ‘Leave an Impression’, filmed in Mexico City by Matthias Zentner and DOP Torsen LIPPSTOCK c/o 1ST UNIT can be considered a new market approach. The spot’s target audience are young and hip trendsetters with a Plan B.
Director Luzian Schlatter and DOP Pascal WALDER c/o 1ST UNIT produced the spot for REDD in the beautiful area of Cape Town, South Africa. Little red riding hood, angels, wolves enchantingly visualised the slogan ‘Curiosity – the first steps to Redds’. Redd’s beer is a juice-beer mixture that is available in various flavours (Sun, Red and Apple). The manufacturer is Kompania Piwowarska SA.
Director Matthias Zentner was also busy for the BMW 6 SERIES COUPE (F13), this time side by side with DOP Stefan of BORBERLY c/o 1ST UNIT. The producer was GoSee member GAP and the shoot took place in Barcelona. This was the second spot for BMW 6 and embodies a combination of luxury and athleticism.
A dream of chocolate, directed by Kras Gancev and DOP Britta MANGOLD c/o 1ST UNIT. The client was LEDO KING DOUBLE and the elegant spot was realised in Zagreb.
Since January, the Munich-based agnecy represents DOP Florian LANGANKE. He studied at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg of course and is a graduate of the ‘Hollywood-program- at the UCLA, Los Angeles. You are very much invited to pay a visit to his site.
