1st Unit : Who says ... you can't actually drink gold? The new BECK'S GOLD TV spot questions conventions

BECK’S GOLD is back! And wasn’t really ever gone anyway… After three years, Inbev presents a new TV spot for BECK’S GOLD. Inbev developed the 20 second spot with McCann Erickson that goes by the credo of “Who said?...”, and seeks to look at things from a fresh perspective and create something new from the conventional. Silbersee and 1st Unit director Claus DOWIE produced the commercial in Chile

The director is based in Athens and Berlin and works for clients such as Toyota, Amita, Cosmote, Hol, HSBC, Seat, Mercedes, Ministry of Transport, Tellas, TIM, Toyota, Smart, Wind and Coca Cola, he has also enjoyed the company of the Greek football team in front of this camera. Following a degree in film and advertising at the University of the Arts Berlin, he reeled in multiple awards with Mercedes Benz ‘Spiky’, including the ADC. Grandiose emotions, visuals and a strong casting distinguish his films.

The BECK’s GOLD Experience platform ‘Think Fresh’ is being continued alongside the TV spot and features Die Fantastischen Vier this year. The K21 Ständehaus in Düsseldorf, host to North Rhine-Westphalia’s art collection kicks things off and will be put under a whole different light on the 30th of May. “On this evening, the K21 Ständehaus will offer a completely different take on art, light illuminations, photography and video projections and music of course”. Together with Die Fantastischen Vier, Thomas D. and BECK’s GOLD will transform the art collection into a piece of art in its own right.
