Anja Wiroth : Murat ASLAN photographs celebs for the German integration foundation

Sporting a black, red & gold tongue, eleven celebrities with foreign roots promote the acquisition of the German language in the campaign by Ferry Pausch for Deutschlandstiftung Integration. Their message: “Mastering the German language is the key to successful integration.”

The celebrtities photographed by Murat ASLAN for DDB Berlin agency include rapper Harris and Jérome Boateng, who fulfilled many a boy's dream, of playing for the national football team in South Africa for the first time.

Other models were rapper Sido and Aygül Özkan, minister for social, women, family, health and integration in Niedersachsen since 2010. She is the first state minister of Muslim faith and with a migration background. Özkan was born in Hamburg; her family moved to Germany from Ankara in the 1960ies.
