Tea dance goes disco with the golden girls of the W London x SISTER by SIBLING S/S13 afternoon salon

Knitwear designers and friends Sid Bryan from Yorkshire, Joe Bates from Leicester and Cozette McCreery from London launched their menswear label Sibling in 2008. The label was an immediate success and the trio was inundated with requests to branch out and make womenswear.

The demands did not fall on deaf ears and last year brother Sibling was delighted to see the birth of its female counterpart – Sister. And as this latest video shows, what a highly glamorous and sophisticated personality Sibling’s younger Sister is!

A ‘70s inspired disco dream awash with dazzling reflections in the mirror balls and up beat with a catchy song that makes us want to grab our platforms and hit the dance floor.

We see the four sexy Sister sirens in their natural habitat - the shiny VIP expanse of London’s ueber glamorous W Hotel in Leicester Square. Dressed in spring time pastel knitwear with gorgeous gold details in geometric patterns and foreboding skulls, the Sisters sip from gold teacups to celebrate their special-edition Sibling afternoon tea at the hotel.

When they grow tired of dancing the babes stretch out on the decadent gold blankets of the famous W Hotel beds and have a quick disco cat nap before they are ready to dance the night away again.

Perhaps the Sisters might even ring for room service and order one of the American hotel chain’s infamous specialities, which range from gourmet pet food, to exclusive waterproof vibrators, to 1,000 lit candles for marriage proposals… Here '70s disco dreams become reality at the touch of the W Hotel rooms' trademark whatever/whenever phone button.
