GoSee Fashion: Carmelita, Naama Brosh’s colourful costume jewellery from Tel Aviv at Bread & Butter and a little trip to the legendary Carmel Market
Berlin goes fashion. This week finally marks the beginning of this year’s trade show Bread & Butter, a Mecca for exhibitors from all over the world, who come there to present their latest collections. Naama Brosh, jewellery designer from Tel Aviv, is one of them.
Obviously a trade fair is not a substitute for a house call. So we took the opportunity to have a look at Naama's shop and label Carmelita on location in Tel Aviv. Besides her own jewellery line, she also sells other handpicked Israeli labels, so there’s something in there for everyone.
From delicate jewellery embroidery, large design necklaces, ‘50s and vintage style earrings to simple and colourful knitted fruit creations … you can find it at 9 Rambam st. – or if Tel Aviv is a little too far away for you, come see her in Spring 2013, when she will be exhibiting at the B&B in Berlin.
By the way, her shop overlooks a pedestrian zone and is just around the corner from the legendary Carmel Market, Tel Aviv’s open-air institution with a distinct bazaar atmosphere. You can find almost anything here all week.
Fresh vegetables, fresh fish, local sweets, clothes, soap, all kinds of food … an absolute must-see.
