Die Antwoord (= the answer) is a South African hipster Hip-Hop duo consisting of Watkin Tudor Jones and Yo-Landi ViSSer, who gained fame with their Internet smash hit 'Enter the Ninja'. Yet, they are actually a group of concept artists / comedians active on South African television, who want to acquaint us with their 'Inner Zef'.

The two describe their music as 'Zef', which means as much as 'Hillbilly' or 'Chav' in colloquial Afrikaans. They are infamous for their stage shows, during which Ninja puts on his standard outfit – the 'Dark Side of the Moon' boxer shorts, while Yo-Landi makes the crowds go wild.

The current and legendary video 'I fink U freaky' bears the unmistakable handwriting of Roger Ballen. Roger (*1950 in NYC) is an US-American photographer. He has been living in South Africa since the 1970s and is a frequent guest here at GoSee. (Nov 2011, Dec 2009).
