Galerie Kulturreich, Hamburg : magical ponies and penis men by Julia Ziegler

The Kulturreich Gallery presents work by Julia Ziegler for the first time. The “magical ponies and penis men” exhibition kidnaps us and takes us on a journey through her colourful, fantastical world of painting and collages, where magical see-ponies, stubbly animal people, joyful penis men and breast women roam.

Glowing, loud and provocative visual worlds lurk, waiting to be discovered, behind titles such as “Cindy Laupers Candyland“, “Höllenhunde“ (Hell’s hounds) and “Miezekatzen“ (pussy cats) or “Fairytale Penisman“,.

Julia studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Born in Austria, she now lives and works in Hamburg. The artist will attend the private view on 18 February.
