Mike Mills : Graphics Films : first monograph of the director, graphic designer and artist

Mike Mills presents his first monograph, which covers fifteen years of his work in graphic design, installation, publications and film projects. His projects include album cover designs for Sonic Youth, Air and the Beastie Boys and he has directed many music videos for all your favourite bands such as Air, Pulp, Yoko Ono, Moby, Everything But the Girl and Les Rythmes Digitales…. In addition to this, the book includes his work for Marc Jacobs, as well as the documentation of his fine art work.

Mike was born in 1966, California. His commercial clients include Levis, Volkswagen, Gap, Nike and Adidas. In 1996 Mills co-founded The Directors Bureau, a multidisciplinary production company, with Roman Coppola. Since then he has been involved in the production of a range of music videos and films including The Architecture of Reassurance (2000) and Paperboys (2001), both of which were official selections at the Sundance Film Festival.
