Achim Lippoth : Kid's Wear shoot with designer ANNE KURRIS, Table Tennis Championship

Achim Lippoth met designer ANNE KURRIS this summer to produce a photo series of mystical children in the deepest woods. Parents and their kids went an exciting journey of discovery and explored the habitat of the creatures that dwell in the magical forest.

Anne Kurris gained recognition for her work as a graphic designer for Jean-Paul Gaultier in 1986. She designed her first children's collection over 10 years ago and since 2008, has been teaching as a professor at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Since Anne Kurris is already a correspondent for KID'S WEAR; Achim’s international magazine of children's fashion, a collaboration between the creative designer and the photographer was inevitable. Achim photographed the table tennis poster in August, for Scholz & Friends, to promote the German Table Tennis champions league at the ‘Tonhaus’. The idea was for sport and culture to compliment each other.

World-class athletes took to the stage that usually accommodates the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra. The ‘Tonhaus’ is a concert venue in Düsseldorf, which hosts over 200 annual concerts with over 220,200 visitors.
