Anja Frers : FRAUENSCHUH image campaign, pianist Alice Sara Ott in SZ MAGAZIN, World of Warcraft Contest

Fashion photographer Anja Frers photographed luxury brand FRAUENSCHUH’s latest image campaign with model Iza Olek. The campaign will be on show on an exclusive basis, with a limited edition of 500 look books sent out to the world’s best luxury sportswear clients.

The brand has grown from an established handcraft business in Kitzbühel, Austria, to a brand that stays true to its traditional roots. Their philosophy is ‘Made in Austria’ and Kaspar Frauenschuh only uses luxurious, locally sourced materials.

The shoot location was Milk Studio, a beautiful listed building. The presentation of the book and the new collection was celebrated with a spectacular fashion show at the Mercedes-Benz Halle in Kitzbühel.

Thomas Elsner headed the creative direction of the image brochure. Uli Wissel took care of the hair and make-up; Gold was in charge of the post production.

Anja Frers and Michael Manke photographed 22-year-old German/Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott for a SZ MAGAZIN fashion special. The theme was homeland and its defining characteristics.

Annekathrin Meyers compiled the outfits, Susan Voss-Redfern perfected the hair and make-up, Ramona Reuters took care of the retouching. AD Thomas Kartsolis developed the illustrations.

She travelled to the World of Warcraft Contest in Cologne with the same team, to photograph Dennis Schneider. The 22 year old is one of Germany’s best computer gamers. His game name is HasuObs, which roughly translates from Korean as ‘average’.
