Claudia Bitzer : the artistic side of photography - new entries Clemens ASCHER and SHIMON & TAMMAR

Panta Rhei – everything flows. What the old Greeks knew then is still relevant today. The same goes for the Claudia Bitzer photographer agency of course, where there is news of two interesting new entries: Clemens ASCHER and SHIMON & TAMMAR.

Clemens ASCHER, 27, is from Austria, graduated from the Miami Ad School Europe in Hamburg, where he completed his qualifications as an art director and commercial photographer. His talent was already discovered while he was still studying and won him awards such as the ‘German Student of the year’ from the ADC. Once he graduated he completed a long-term photography assistant job in Hamburg, before launching his freelance photographer career in 2008.

Clemens lives and works in Vienna and Innsbruck and also creates artistic photography work.

SHIMON and TAMMAR – an Israeli married couple who work and live in New York are also a new addition. Shimon is a autodidact and started taking pictures aged nine. Tammar discovered photography aged 15 and studied Graphic Design at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem.

In 1995, the couple opened their first studio in Tel Aviv. In 1999, they relocated to New York, where they work for both the American and European markets. Shimon and Tammar’s work has won countless renowned awards. Three years ago, they started developing a new visual style to combine their photographic talents with new CGI techniques, as well as an artistic and conceptual approach.

Clemens ASCHER, as well as SHIMON & TAMMAR’s portfolios will all be on show at the Claudia Bitzer stall at the UPdate in Frankfurt.
