Darius Ramazani : 'growing old with dignity' with CARITAS Austria and charity motifs for WORLD VISION in Senegal
CARITAS Austria was impressed by Darius RAMAZANI’s sensitive and lively approach to photographing the elderly, so they decided to commission him with several motifs for their latest campaign. The collaboration was brought about CCP Heye Wien and Art Director Romain Berthet.
Approximately 412,000 people in Austria require a helping hand to provide them with medical aid and care on a daily basis. Although many of them still live at home, family members and professional carers lend them support, providing them with a fulfilled, safe and active life.
CARITAS organises information events and open days in keeping with their ‘growing old with dignity’ theme. Darius’ photos help to spread awareness of their important work. Wiener Städtischen Versicherung supports the campaign. To find out more on the CARITAS projects, click here.
Darius was commissioned by the Joussen Karliczek agency to shoot a campaign in Senegal for the WORLD VISION humanitarian aid organisation. The images are filled with optimism and strength the people manage to show, even when faced with the direst situations. The resulting images will be published in magazines such as Bunte, TV Spielfilm and Neckermann.
The motifs promote the organisation’s 30th anniversary and its work with impoverished children in developing countries. They are accompanied by WORLD VISION’s ‘Give a child its first birthday’ campaign concept.
Meike Wittenstein c/o MO POSTPRODUCTION carried out the postproduction of the campaign motifs.
