Emeis Deubel : NEW YORK MAGAZINE, stapled animals for PRO WILDLIFE, René Adler in GQ, Bibiana Beglau in ZEIT and SLEEK cover story

NEW YORK MAGAZINE commissioned Peter RAD to photograph a story on Bernie Madoff. The jailed billionaire conman was not available for photos, so the initial concept was to book a body double and then add the head using stock material.

During casting sessions, Peter then found an actor, who not only looked just like Bernie Madoff but could also imitate his gestures and expressions perfectly. The NEW YORK MAGAZINE was so impressed, that they dropped the original idea.

Bernie’s double George Morafetis was photographed in Nassau County Jail.

In addition to the ADC Gold award for her paper flower for client AMBI PUR, Sarah ILLENBERGER was awarded for another Jung von Matt commission. She enthusiastically stapled a whale and an elephant! The work was realised for the PRO WILDLIFE animal protection organisation. Jan Rexhausen was the creative director.

Stefan HEINRICHS photographed actress Bibiana Beglau for DIE ZEIT and photographed sadly injured German national team goalie René Adler modelling this season’s latest looks for GQ. Tobias Frericks carried out the styling and Stelli fixed the hair.

Attila HARTWIG had lots of fun shooting a range of animals for the cover of and editorial in the latest issue of SLEEK. The suitable title is ‘Flora Fauna’.
