food art factory : Cancale's oyster banks - travel report and images

Last summer, photographer Klaus-Maria Einwanger travelled 10,000 km across France for a project. His journey began in Cancale on the Bretonic coast and led him to the sea in a straight line, to gaze at the famous oyster banks and sample the local delicacies. Cancale is the famous oyster breeding ground located in Mont Saint-Michel bay.

Kalus had never laid eyes on an oyster bank before so he had no idea of what to expect but as the photos show, he clearly wasn’t left feeling disappointed.

He completed the series of food photographs with food stylist Sven Dittman at home in his studio.
