Frank Linders : racing car chase for DHBW ENGINEERING Stuttgart's 2011 calendar

To illegally race through town with a Formula 1 racing car just once – is no longer the stuff of dreams, at least for photographer Frank Linders.

He captured a racing driver speed off in a racing car and documented the thrilling car chase across town. Of course, the smart thief always kept his distance between himself and the racing driver by just a hair’s breadth.

Frank photographed the story for the DHBW ENGINEERING Stuttgart e.V 2011 calendar. He was also responsible for its concept and post-production.

The calendar narrates the exciting story of the Sleek 10 racing car in 13 images.

The racing team, supervised by Michael Schade, wanted to ensure that the regional factor was emphasised. Reason enough for Pia Hirsemann to scout for fascinating and urban locations in the Stuttgart area. Sybille Nehring took care calendar's layout.

DHBW Engineering is the Formula 1 student team of DHBW Stuttgart, the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg. The team consists of 34 motor sports enthusiast students from various subject areas.

DHBW Engineering is a cross-disciplinary project by DHBW and is excited about the support coming from all fields of university.

The Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg Stuttgart and its 7,000 students count amongst the biggest universities in the region of Stuttgart and Upper Neckar. The unique, practical courses guarantee graduates a high degree of employability.
