Grosser Fotografen : beer campaign with ASTRA humour, ZDF-Herzflimmern, royal BUNTE campaign, FAZ, VOLKSWAGEN, PROTEC, VELTINS and CADILLAC in Shanghai
It is so nice to know that in the age of digital media, there is an analogue ASTRA community. Thus, terms such as touch screen and giga ‘heartz’ gain take on an entirely new, wonderfully literal meaning. Hans STARCK shot the campaign commissioned by Phillip & Keuntje with a hearty swig of ASTRA humour.
Also part of the motif development: stylist Christoph Post, AB Christiane Gundlach and CD Markus Hammer.
‘Herzflimmern’ goes on air. Hans was commissioned by Leo Burnett Frankfurt with AB Sabine Patze, AD Christoph Wick and CD Ulf von Wallersbrunn to photograph the commercial motif for the new ZDF doctors series. Christoph Post ensured model Volker was wearing the right doctors coat and Udo Kramer arranged the set.
William and Kate’s wedding was a media event par excellence – the top gossip subject doesn’t go unnoticed in the latest BUNTE campaign motif. Hans photographed the ‘royal ring exchange’ commissioned by DDB Tribal Group Berlin. AB: Susanne Kreft, AD Anna Kiefer.
Make-up was also required for the ‘royal hand’ – this time by MANUELA Kopp c/o CLOSE UP AGENCY.
The ADC awarded two of Hans STARCK’s for Scholz & Friends and DDB TRIBAL GROUP projects. The FAZ ‘Haneke’ motif won bronze in the Single Print Motif category and the VOLKSWAGEN ‘Classic Parts’ campaign won an award in the Print Campaign category.
Creative Director Jojo Hicks and Art Director Gabriel Mattar supervised the latter campaign.
Colours also have a life of their own – at least when they are captured in flowing and dripping structures like Jörg KRITZER does. Jörg shot the campaign motifs for Rumblefish Düsseldorf and PROTEC colours. AD: Kathrin Nahlik.
It doesn’t get much fresher than this. Grabarz & Partner commissioned Jörg with the new VELTINS campaign. It leaves us longing for long summer nights with a freshly drawn pint of pils. Nicolai Swoboda was in charge of art direction and Indra Hohns took care of the art buying.
Mirror, mirror on the wall, which pair of glasses is fairest in the land? Estelle KLAWITTER shot a spread with the latest frames for EYEWEAR MAGAZINE.
BEATRICE Soma took care of the hairstyling; ANNE-LENA Cox perfected the make-up both c/o 21AGENCY. Rolf Buck complied the outfits: sunglasses as far as the eye can see – bring on the summer sunshine.
Lujiazui East Road in Shanghai, the metropolis’ most lively area in the heart of the financial district. Daniel HARTZ felt it was the ideal location to shoot the new CADILLAC CTS and had the street officially shut off for ten hours. He produced a series of impressive night shots with his crew.
