J. Konrad Schmidt : LEICA show shoot at the Photokina and photo exhibition at their stall

LEICA invited many well-known photographers to the Photokina 2010 in Cologne and asked them to realise work on various subject matters using the new LEICA S2.

On the first day of the fair, J. Konrad Schmidt inaugurated the production sessions at the stall-studio. Hundreds of spectators observed the shoot behind glass. The result is a colourful series, inspired by 1990s Italo chic.

Dietmar Herbst styled model Katerina Smutok, hair & make-up by Manuela Schwozer, Andreas Doria took care of the post-production.

LEICA also presented numerous works in the giant exhibition at their stall, which was created using the new system. 'The Corset Piercing Nr.2' by J. Konrad Schmidt was shown in the press area of the LEICA booth and enjoyed a great deal of attention.
