Marion Eckhardt : newcomers Ilona HABBEN and Christian STEINHAUSEN

As of now, the agency represents the two newcomers Ilona HABBEN and Christian STEINHAUSEN. Christian lives in Berlin and specialises in people and fashion photography. He graduated as a photo designer in Munich. In order to gain more experience, he became a photo assistant in New York and assisted photography heroes and heroines such as Ellen von Unwerth, Mario Testino and Steven Klein.

Afterwards, he worked as a studio manager for the Splashlight Studios in New York, before going into business himself. Amongst others, he has worked for BMW, IBM, Citibank, Vattenfall, Sony Music, Playboy, New York Times, Glamour or Cosmopolitan.

Hamburg-based Ilona Habben specialises in people and portrait. Following her training as a photographer and an internship within an editorial department, she finished her education in photo design with a thesis, which earned her an ADC award. The opus “Ostfriesenabitur” has been published as a print edition in the form of an exercise book.

Despite her rather young career, Ilona has already worked for magazines including STERN, FÜR SIE and BRIGITTE. She also realized some successful website mandates for ZDF, GOOGLE and SEB BANK too.
