Michael Zargarinejad : covers for Stephanie Heinzmann and DJ Ötzi, ZMG, FRANCONO RHEINMAIN and pin-up star LOVELY MISS IVI

Michael ZARGARINEJAD was commissioned by UNIVERSAL MUSIC to produce photos in the USA and Berlin for Platinum winning singer Stefanie Heinzmann’s new album ‘Roots to Grow’.

The locations included the Half Moon Bay in San Francisco, Height Ashbury Street, Las Vegas neon sign graveyard and a motel on the Road to Nowhere by Los Angles. Despite hardly any sleep, and hundreds of miles clocked up on the counter, the shoot was realised within a week with a wonderful, hard-working team.

The music video for the new ‘Unbreakable’ single was realised in Berlin. Things got wild, messy and sticky at the food fight, see pictures attached.

He also photographed Michelle Leonard in an additional UNIVERSAL commission, this time for the Popstars TV show judge and songwriter’s new single. The album will soon follow!

Half a lorry full of balls was required for the ZMG - ZEITUNGS MARKETING GESELLSCHAFT shoot. The ‘New(s)comers Best – Competition’ poster was the bouncy result. The caption reads : sport makes young people strong!

Michael successfully realised the FRANCONO RHEIN MAIN AG business report with architecture shots. He seems to be particularly fond of stairwells.

Michael met up with legendary Austrian DJ Ötzi in Salzburg for the cover shoot of his new single ‘Sweet Caroline’, which we expect to be on constant rotation at several après ski parties this winter. The assignment was provided by UNIVERSAL Music Germany.

The second THE LOVELY MISS IVI, a pin-up, tattoo and piercing artist from Switzerland, calendar is out now. The colourful collaboration was once again inspired by the renowned master of pin-up art Gil Elvgren, who also painted for Coca Cola.
