Shotview : HUGO BOSS with Lars Burmeister, the new Viennese art scene, Sandra Maischberger in SZ Mag, JETTE JOOP, STERN, NU and Dennis Hopper exhibition
Jean-Francois CARLY has photographed various collections for HUGO BOSS to date. 2010 has seen the second campaign launch in a year for the German fashion giant: following several campaigns for the Hugo and Boss Green lines, he was commissioned to shoot the HUGO BOSS Bodywear Autumn/Winter Collection.
The photos feature top model Lars Burmeister in the trademark Boss environment; surrounded by metal and concrete, perfectly complimenting the classically tailored pieces.
Joachim BALDAUF was commissioned for the JETTE JOOP image campaign. The series presents Ms Joop looking sleek, stylish and decisive, she is her own brand’s latest testimonial. The campaign aims to bring the designer closer to the customer: the label’s pieces don’t just carry her name, they also carry her signature style, which combines style, trends and functionality in one swift classy movement.
Joachim also produced the cover of BOLERO and the ‘Fashion Highlights’ pages for the August issue of the Swiss magazine. The beautiful Charlotte Cordes, as styled by Martina Riebeck, is the latest issue’s fashion highlight.
Over the past few weeks, Peter RIGAUD shone in a whole series of interesting commissions for national and international magazine titles. STERN sent him out into the Rhine region, where he was commissioned to shoot the accompanying photographs for a report on developments in the area, which was crowned this year’s Cultural Capital of Europe.
He was also booked by Austrian Jewish magazine NU, to shoot a portrait of Rabbi Chaim Malowicki, one of the most important representatives of the hotly discussed Kabballah tradition and religious theory, whose celebrity followers include Paris Hilton and Madonna.
Sunnyi Melles was interviewed at the Salzburger drama festival for Austrian newspaper Standart’s ‘RONDO’ weekly supplement. Peter provided the sexy photos of the talented actress portraying her vision of Marilyn Monroe.
To commemorate the sad news of the death of legendary Dennis Hopper, the editors of the Phillips de Pury auction house and gallery’s magazine decided to run a detailed report on the eccentric maverick, his life and the current ‘Dennis Hopper: Double Standard’ exhibition at California’s MOCA.
Peter supplied his renowned, impressive photos of Hopper, which wonderfully capture the unique character and personality of the actor, director, art collector and artist.
ART magazine had the whole of Berlin shaking at the knees when it adorned it’s August cover with the statement: ‘Vienna rocks: better than Berlin? The Viennese scene is international, wild and political’. They immediately looked to Berlin and Vienna expert Peter RIGAUD to shoot the much-promising newcomers of the Vienna art scene. They made the right choice; he mastered a whole series depicting the artists in their Viennese surroundings as well as next to their incredibly appealing artworks.
Peter was commissioned to shoot a cover story for SZ MAGAZIN with Sandra Maischberger – a portrait of a woman whose career is dedicated to portrayal and whose ‘true face’, despite its constant public presence, is not quite as well known. Mission accomplished: he captured the real woman behind ‘Germany’s most successful TV presenter’ on the cover and in a series accompanying the detailed interview.
