Steffen Jahn : captures the MERCEDES concept car F700 at his studio

A few hours before the valuable, one-off MERCEDES F700 concept car was jetted to the Middle East, Steffen had the pleasure of capturing it with his camera. Packed with everything high tech, the Mercedes F700 demonstrates anything that goes … adaptive cushioning, 3D cinema with surround sound, the most luxury interiors imaginable…

The developers likened a ride in this car to that of a magic carpet. This sensation of lightness was reflected by Steffen’s team’s use of light in the studio. The light sources were created directly in front of the camera, not later on a computer.

The shoot was ended a few hours later – the F700 had an important date with a sheik. And off it couriered towards the airport…
