Tim Thiel : the art of flower arrangements for BANKHAUS SAL. OPPENHEIM customer magazine and vegetables for SONNEN BASSERMANN plus making-of spot for PORSCHE DESIGN

The current project for BANHKAUS SAL. OPPENHEIM customer magazine centred on the sophisticated art that is Ikebana, that is, arranging flowers. Photographer Tim Thiel was commissioned by the Simon&Götz agency.

This time however, the project was not for advertising purposes, but for a rather artistic editorial challenge – the task was to create filigree, yet purist flower motifs for the cover, back cover and the main spread.

The CD Bernd Volmöller was on set and Marcus Arndt took care of the styling while GoSee member NACHSPIEL was responsible for the post-production.

Tim was commissioned with capturing the ‘Summer freshness’ of SONNEN BASSERMANN, shooting vegetables trapped in a block of ice. GoSee member ANDREAS KOPPE was responsible for the freezing. The supervising agency was TBWA Düsseldorf with Jörg Bruns and Simon Hattrup in creation and Rossita Markowitz in art buying. The motifs will be released sooner rather than later.

The specialist in soup, stews and ready-meals can look back on a brand tradition that is a hundred years old. One of the first entries in the imperial office for patents was the Sonne brand by the company Sieburg & Pförtner in 1896. The first factories were built in 1893, where the factory premises are still located to this day.

Furthermore, you can watch the PORSCHE DESIGN making-of spot of GoSee FILM.
