Tout va bien : the end of an era.The last issue is dedicated to the late editor Felicitas Oeltze von Lobenthal.

Should I, or should I not? This was the big question, Hazan Hizli, magazine companion and good friend of ‘Tout va bien’ publisher Felicitas Oeltze, had to ask herself after her friend's demise a few months ago. We are delighted with Hazan's decision to shoulder the last issue and dedicate it to Felicitas, lock, stock and barrel. Surely, she would have been more than delighted about the issue, an impish smile curled across her face.

‘Tout va bien’ was Felicitas Oeltze von Lobenthal's life motto and she stood by the printers to green light the pages for the 04/09 issue of TOUT VA BIEN. The very next day, she had to be committed to hospital again and sadly her condition went inexorably downhill. Felicitas Oeltze von Lobenthal died on the 10th of April 2010.

“It was a very profound desire of mine, to dedicate the last issue to Felicitas. I asked friends, colleagues and companions to contribute personal accounts. The first I contacted was Albert Watson and he immediately agreed. A good sign and an incentive to keep going, true to my personal philosophy 'Just Do it'.”, says Hazan.

With the help of this magazine, all who did not know Felicitas Oeltze von Lobenthal will be able to find out who she was. The magazine features pictures by photographers favoured by Felicitas and Hazan after nine years of collaboration.

Beda Achermann designed the pages with the contributions of former colleagues at DEUTSCH VOGUE where she had been working for quite some time. The contributions were overseen and organised by Angelika Bohrer. Daniele Costa and Wolfgang Joop also contributed their talents.

Hazan's thanks go out to Gian Paolo Barbieri, Paolo Castaldi, Sante D´Orazio, Rosemarie Schneider, Thomas Taube, Albert Watson and to everybody else who
contributed to this very special issue.

TOUT VA BEIN has been an important and never dull chapter of my life. To me, times are calling for a creative break. Lest there will be no new 'baby', no new magazine of mine . . . be surprised!”
