Upfront : NEW entry Bastian Werner, JUPITER JONES Deluxe-Edition, 'Alive and Swingin' with Michael Mittermeier, Sasha, Xavier Naidoo and Rea Garvey, Selig frontman Jan Plewka, DHL-, TUI- and LÄTTA- motifs, AUDI COLLECT

Earlier this year, Upfront Photo & Film welcomed new member Bastian WERNER from Düsseldorf to their ranks. Here are some of his recent works. Bastian worked for clients such as C&A, Beiersdorf, Vichy and Henkel (and others). You can find more of his pictures on the Upfront website.

Photographer and director Sven SINDT collaborated with the band JUPITER JONES on their most recent deluxe-edition release. He produced the band photographs, accompanied the band on tour with his video and photo camera and also created the video for the new song 'Nordpol / Suedpol' – released on the 27th of January.

To mark the current tour of the "Sängerknaben" (which are Michael Mittermeier, Sasha, Xavier Naidoo and Rea Garvey), Sven Sindt photographed the lads in Vienna during rehearsals and a concert. The photographs show what the foursome's 'Alive and Swinging' show is all about: a fun and entertaining homage to the unique and original 'Rat Pack'.

Sven also photographed and produced the video for the 'Shadowman' song by newcomer act SCHMIDT from Berlin. Sven and cameraman Barne Peters travelled to London, where the artist was working on her debut album with successful producer Guy Chambers, to shoot the atmospheric black and white images.

Jan Plewka, frontman of the band SELIG, once again treads on solitary paths and he is particularly fond of his Rio Reiser routine. Sven visited the singer for new PR and tour pictures and enjoyed a relaxed and interesting shoot in Hamburg.

Murat ASLAN shot several people motifs on location for the Butter agency and DHL in Berlin. The focus of the production entitled 'Mein Paket' were various topics such as environment, punctuality, deliveries and collections at the package station.

Patrick Hampel was the Creative Director and Paul Seitz took care of the art buying. The campaign is already running in all major print titles and online. More motifs have already been produced.

Murat photographed a new testimonial for the TUIfly.com travel gateway campaign: the flying expert. The campaign was supervised and developed by Hasenstein, Hamburg and with it, TUIfly.com seeks to emphasise and promote its transition from an airline to travel booking site.

The creative input came from CD Timm Hanebeck and AD Jan Wölfel. The motifs feature captions with wordplays relating to the 'Bond' theme. And that is how the photography turned out as well: cool, laid-back, with a hint of humour. Murat Aslan also produced short clips, which we will have the pleasure of watching very soon.

The Edelman PR agency commissioned photographer Sven C. RABEN on behalf of Unilever for the product launch of the new ‘LÄTTA & luftig’ margarine. ‘LÄTTA & luftig’ is the first half-fat margarine on the market and sports an unusually light texture. Sven shot the yummy breakfast for the market launch – fresh and light, typical LÄTTA.

Tim Schober of NORDSTERN shot a broad range of products for AUDI COLLECTION. The creation was in the hands of the Philipp und Keuntje agency, while Christiane Gundlach and Wiebke Burmeister took care of the art buying.

At the same time, Markus Dominitzki developed a motif in cooperation with Martin Kupfer (CGI) and Tobias Aderhold, using the Audi logo as a starting point

In between the last jobs, Christian SAUTER used his time to do some tests. This series was created both in front and behind the camera, apparently it was lots of fun.
