Upfront : new shoes from DEICHMANN, Jérôme Boateng for NIKE, SENNHEISER motifs, ARTE campaign and in SNEAKERS mag

Photographer Murat ASLAN was busy working for Europe’s largest shoe retail chain, this time he was shooting DEICHMANN’s new men’s fashion collection. The three-day production offered a wide spectrum of locations: the rooftops of Berlin to a scrap ayrd…

The shoot ideas came from agency Grey Worldwide in Düsseldorf. The team included Creative Director Jochen Heimann and Art Buyer Swenja Zeh. But pictures say more than words, so now for the making-of by Chris Calimann.

Hair and make-up by Dolores Sanchez and Katharina FRANKE c/o NUDE. Stephanie Wüstemann c/o BLOSSOM was in charge of the styling.

Things took an athletic turn with NIKE Germany and Jérôme Boateng: the Bayern Munich player and national league football players presented the new Tiempo Legend IV. The Tiempo Legend IV football shoes is an ideal match for today’s footballer.

‘Boa’ was also photographed by Murat for Nike Sportswear in an exclusive shoot, dressed in his favourite styles from the upcoming Autumn 2011 collection. Here is an overview of the shoot.

Murat shot various images for an image pool relating to earphones for SENNHEISER. He shot all the urban inspired material in just two days.

The creative input was provided by CD Djik Ouchiian and AD Karen Grashorn. Colin Garbers (Consultant) and Anna Simdon and Constanze Spross (Art Buying) supervised the production.

Murat was commissioned by the Grabarz & Partner agency to shoot the first campaign flight for new client ARTE. The campaign presents viewers and shows how they are influenced by ARTE: they are touched, inspired, shaken up, excited and sometimes even annoyed. Feelings that simply don’t come across in TV these days. The viewers also explain what effect ARTE had on them and comment on what they have experienced with an ironic undertone: THANK YOU ARTE! The total of 6 motifs from the series will gradually be published throughout the year.

As a part of his continual shoots for Germany Integration Foundation, Murat was commissioned by the Tribal DDB agency to visit the women’s football team in Bitburg before the World Championship. Murat photographed goalkeeper Célia Okoyino da Mbabi, as well as team players Simone Laudehr and Fatmire „Lira“ Bajramaj. Kerstin Kraus (Artbuying) and Patricia Scheder (Artdirection) from Tribal DDB also worked on the shoot.

Murat Aslan also shot an eight-page spread with the latest sneaker trends for the latest issue of SNEAKERS magazine. Stylist Stephanie WÜSTEMANN c/o BLOSSOM and make-up artist Katharina FRANKE c/o NUDE were on set at Studio 67 in Berlin.
