Anja Frers : RANDOM MAG, ANNABELLE, Anne-Sophie Mutter, MATERIAL GIRL

Anja produced a spread in London for new fashion and art magazine, RANDOM. It is available from selected international fashion bookshops. Anja worked with three of the hottest models currently out there: Cole Mohr, Kelly Osbourne’s boyfriend Luke Worral and Julian. The last mentioned was discovered by hair artist Heiko Palach whilst carrying out newspapers at a café. He started off with Another Magazine and has been overbooked ever since. The lads were styled by Nini Gollong, Heiko and his assistant Susanne Lichtenegger took care of the hair and make-up.

On returning from London she then went on to shoot the cover of ANNABELLE magazine in Zurich, featuring German indie pop star Mia. The fashion editor was Alexandra Kruse, the make-up was applied by Nicola Fischer, the hair fixed by Alex Tahir and the motifs were retouched by Valentina c/o HAPPY FINISH.

Anja shot violin virtuoso Anne-Sophie Mutter’s new CD covers: Bach / Gubaidulina and Mendelssohn. Georgios Tsiogkas was in charge of the hair, joined by Ui Wessel for all things make-up. The styling wand was waved by Lin Adler - all c/o LOOX AGENCY. Retouching was performed by Digitalartwork / STERNENFÄNGER.

Two spreads by Anja are published in the new issue of MATERIAL GIRL. London-based Louis Mariette’s unusual millinery creations star in one of the shoots. He is prominent for being able to incorporate a family's heirloom into his tailor made creations, as well as having sculpted the world’s most expensive hat – the “Chapeau d’Amour“, made of platinum and diamonds, worth 1.9 million Euro.

The models were Alicia Hunter and Sian Leake. Both are only 15 years old and were accompanied by their mothers. The dream team of Nini Gollong and Heiko Palach plus assistant were on the spot once more. The nails were designed by Liza Smith. The retouch was carried out by Maria Schinz, digital-make-up. One of the series' image was on display at the “RED” exhibition held at Gallery Aplanat, Hamburg (GoSee reported).

The second shoot was realized at a villa in Grünwald. Model Rosa Curtain starred in Missoni’s previous campaign, her make-up was applied by Susan Voß Redfern and her styling was completed by Christine Bierhals. This time Maria Schinz was in charge of the retouch.
