Anja Wiroth Agency : NAJA CONRAD HANSEN exhibition, H&M menswear catalogue production, steamy shots for PRINZ, DOVE look for UNILEVER, ......

NAJA CONRAD HANSEN from Denmark is well known and loved for her energetic, tough, colourful and yet very delicate illustrations – the Grey agency of Düsseldorf now presents a selection of her wonderful works. The ambitious illustrator was recently named as one of the best illustrators in Europe, by FREISTIL. Her work can be viewed at the Blink Gallery, am Platz der Ideen 1, im Mannschaftshaus 3., until 26.6.2009 – we were there and we thoroughly recommend it – see article.

AW International Services & Productions produced the H&M menswear catalogue shoot in Berlin. The H&M team - Mats Fridehäll (Art Director) and Ylva Bergstedt (Art Buyer), and photographer Ewa-Marie Rundquist, scoured the streets of Berlin and the SPREEGRAPHEN STUDIO for the best spots for their shoot. The models were Ryan Thomas from Wales and top model Andrés Velencoso.

Bernhard WOLFF steamed up his lens for the May cover of PRINZ city guide magazine. It was a happy coincidence that models Dominika and Lorcan c/o VIVA BERLIN got on like a house on fire. The team behind the hot cover shoot also included Knuth Kung Shing Stein (Art Director), Holger Riemenschneider (Photo Editor), Sandra Haiden (Make-up) and Barbara Zach (Styling).

Jörgen BRENNICKE has already shot several stories for KING magazine. Model Andre had a lot to read on Johanna Löwenhamn’s set design at the Mjuklyx studio. Tony Lundström (Make-up), Pamela Bellafesta (Styling).

The pyjama look made its first appearance in summer 2008 – but it didn’t quite make its mark, but now thanks to the help of HENRIKE STAHL’s spread for JOLIE magazine, things are looking up. Carolin Deutsch was in charge of the production.

The AW hard working award goes to Norman KONRAD! He shot portraits of three musicians for the May/June issue of Spex magazine: Kevin Blechdom, Jeremy Jay and Sunn. He also shot Martin Kind, President of the Hannover 96 sports club for 11 FREUNDE magazine. The photography editor was Carsten Meissner.

Illustrator Thiago RIBEIRO SANTANA was commissioned by the Elos Marketing agency with the commercial images for Unilever deodorants, primarily for DOVE. The art director was Melissa Rondon.
