Anja Wiroth : Lewis Hamilton and Thierry Henry for REEBOK, Michael Ballack for DEUTSCHE BAHN, SIXX, KIA, MDV, tattoos in INKED mag and illustration art
It’s all ree with REEBOK: Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton and star kicker Thierry Henry presented their sporty sides to Olaf HEINE’s camera. Henry balanced a ball on his head on a treadmill in Barcelona, followed by a more playful training session in London: Hamilton was really getting into the mini racer – whether or not he parted with the remote is another story.
DEUTSCHE BAHN also booked sports specialist HEINE, who had already shot football stars Michael Ballack and Birgit Prinz before. This really paid off on the shoots with Prinz at Berlin Central Station and Ballack at a studio in London. ELEKTRONISCHE SCHÖNHEIT provided the finishing touches in the post production.
SIXX, a new women’s series with ‘sexx appeal’ from television company ProSiebenSat1 Media AG’s – commissioned Norman KONRAD with campaign images. The team comprised photography editor Stephanie Wildförster, models Max, Christine and Sona, hair and make-up artists Claudia Hesse and Dorothee Meyer, stylist Petra Seibold and set stylist Katja Severin Norman was also helped by his assistants Benedikt Frank and Florian Generotzky.

When temperatures rise, so do hemlines and even sleeve lengths, and there you have it - tattoos are proudly displayed. The May issue of New York’s INKED MAGAZINE provides its readers with the opportunity of exploring tattoo artist Eva Huber’s artistic body. Eva bared almost all and plenty of ink for Diana SCHEUNEMANN’s camera at the legendary Chelsea Hotel.
Mitteldeutsche Verkehrsverbund MDV (mid German transport union) doesn’t know ‘what you have planned’, but it has a plan for it all the same. And Markus BACHMANN knows how to realise the accompanying campaign images with the Heimrich & Hannot (Leipzig) agency and AD Thomas Rossa. Full speed ahead!
Photographer and art director Carsten KOFALK regularly demonstrates his graphics-inspired vision of fashion photography. His ‘Mikado’ and ‘Display Dummies’ series show that he has a skill for lines, shapes and the use of reflexes.
Caro modelled for ‘Mikado’. BENJAMIN Becher c/o BLOSSOM fixed her hair and make-up. The ‘Display Dummies’ team comprised hair and make-up artist CATRIN Kreyss c/o PERFECTPROPS, stylist STEPHANIE Canisius c/o BIGOUDI and model RIMANTE c/o M4.
