KME Studios : well-being for EMOTION, in the Dolomites for EVOBUS and the MAJOLA outdoor shoot in Norway
Klaus-Maria EINWANGER and Michael MÜLLER collaborated to realise a shoot for EMOTION an in-store magazine, focussing on the topic of well-being for one of Germany's largest retail chains. The pictures that depict diet, fitness and beauty were produced in only three days on location at the “Haus der Gegenwart” in Munich and at the team's own studio.
Regina and Katl Stiefl took care of the styling; the Well Cuisine was arranged by Monika Schuster. All in all, it was a professional production by an established collaboration with the Scratch agency.
Getting up at 2am in the morning usually accounts for darkness, frostiness and drowsy faces. Yet, the trouble paid off in form of a sunrise and dreamy sentiments on the mountain passes of the Dolomites. In just a week, the team managed to portray Mercedes Benz and Setra Busses of EVOBUS, together with the SetCo agency, in dynamic cornering, as majesty of the mountain tops or in recreated service scenes.
A big thank you goes out to the tireless drivers, who had to meet high expectations and demands, yet they managed to master any situation with the utmost bravery and skill.
At the beginning of June, Michael MÜLLER photographed the new MALOJA summer 2010 catalogue for the fifth year in a row. This time, the friends of the outdoors took off to Norway, where the days are seemingly endless at that time of year.
The hard to forecast weather conditions were a hindering aspect of the production and hardly any sunshine was to bee seen despite a ‘light’ cycle from 3am to 11pm. The landscape offered the perfect backdrop, but shooting cross-country photographs at 3°C east wind, in short trousers within the last remnants of snow, turned out to be a challenge, even to the toughest of lads.
